hematology the science of the blood and blood-producing organs
hospice program or facility that provides pallative care and attends to the emotional, spiritual, social, and financial needs of terminally ill patients at a facility or at a patient's home
hypertension persistent high blood pressure
idiopathic arising spontaneously or from an obscure or unknown cause
inflammation a localized protective reaction of tissue to irritation, injury, or infection, characterized by pain, redness, swelling, and sometimes loss of function
