Repersantivie government An electoral system where citizens vote to elect people to represent their interests and concerns. Those elected debate and make laws on behalf of the whole community or society
Irqorquois confedarcy The Iroquois Confederacy was the most powerful group of Native Americans in eastern North America including six nations.
Alliance A close association for a common objective, as of nations, political parties, etc.
Mercantilism Mercantilism is an economic policy that is designed to maximize the exports and minimize the imports for an economy.
Diversity the practice or quality of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds
Apprentice a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work
Immigration the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country.
Cash crop a crop produced for its commercial value rather than for use by the grower.
Subsistence farming Subsistence agriculture occurs when farmers grow food crops to meet the needs of themselves and their families.
Triangular trade a multilateral system of trading in which a country pays for its imports from one country by its exports
