acute angle less than 90 degrees.
angle two rathat are connected at the end point. the end point is called the vertex.
angle bisector a ray that divides an angle into two congruent.
collinear points points that lie on the same line.
congruent angles angles that have the same measurement.
congruent segments segements that have the same length.
conjecture a conclusion reached by using inductive reasoning.
coordinate is it distance and direction from the origin of a number line.
coplanar points and lines in the same plane are coplanar.
counterexample a particular example or instance of the statement the makes the statement false.
inductive reasoning a type of reasoning that reaches conclusions based on a pattern of specific examples or past events.
opposite rays opposite ray start at the same point and goes on in the same direction.
parallel lines parallel lines are coplanar lines that do not intersect.
perpendicular lines they intersect to form right angles.
plane thickness. it extends without end in all directions.
point a point has no length.
postulate a statement accepted to be true without proof.
ray a ray is a part of a line that consist of a line that lie on one side of the initial point.
right angle exactly 90 degrees.
segment a portion of a line batween two points called end points.
skew lines are lines that do not lie on the same plane.
space is the boundless three dimensional set of all points.
