What is the definition of space? The boundless 3-dimensional set of all points
What ha no length, no width, or thickness, it extends with end in two directions. Line
Points that lie on the same line are what? Colilinear Points
Define plane. A flat surface that has no thickness,it extends without end in all directions.
Points an d lines in the same plane are? Coplaner
What do intersecting lines share? They shaare a point.
A statement accepted to be true without proof is known as what? Postulate
What is a line segment? It is a portion of a line between two points, called endpoints.
What is part of a line that consits of an initial point abd all points on the line that lie on one side of the initial point. Ray
What are parallel line? Coplaner lines that do not intersect.
Lines that are noncoplaner, therefore, they are not parallel and do not intersect are what? Skew Lines
Lines that intersect to form right angles are what kind of lines? Perpindicular Lines
Opposite Rays These start at the smae, and go in opposite directions.
What are right angles? Angles that are exactly 90 degrees
Angles that are larger than 90 degrees but less than 180 are? Obtuse angles
Two segments with the same length are? Congruent Segments
What is a midpoint? A point that divides a segment into two congruent segments, it bisects the segment.
What are angles? Two rays that are connected at their endpoints calles the vertex.
Angles are have the same measure of degree are? Congruent Angles
What does an angle bisector do? Cuts an angle into two congruent angles
What is inductive reasoning? A reasoning based on observed patterns
A conclusion reached through inductive reasoning is what? Conjecture
What is a counter-example? An example enough to disporve a conjecture
Points and lines in the same plane are what? Coplaner
What are coorinates? Numbers associated with a point on a line
