| Sulfur Oxides | colorless gas formed from the burning of fossil fuels- major air pollutant- may damage respiratory tract and vegetation |
| Nitrogen Oxides | Gases formed when combustion takes place under high temperature and pressure such as a combustion engine |
| Particulate Matter | solid particles suspended in air. EX: soot, ash, dust |
