Blender Key Commands
Term | Definition |
---|---|
A | Select all faces on an object that is selected |
G | Access the Grab tool, allowing you to move an item around with no mouse click needed |
S | Access the Scale tool, allowing you to scale an item with no mouse click needed |
R | Access the Rotate tool, allowing you to rotate an item with no mouse click needed |
F | Allows you to scale the size of your editing tool by moving the mouse up and down in the viewport |
U | access the Unwrap menu |
Shift + D | Duplicate a selected object |
Control + P | allows you to create a parent relationship with a group of objects; the last object selected in the group will be the parent |
Alt + P | will un-parent an object from a group |
H | Hides any object you have selected |
Control + E | Puts you in Extrude tool of the Edit mode |
Control + B | Puts you in Bevel tool of the Edit mode |
Tab | this will switch from Object mode to Edit mode |
Numpad Zero | will toggle back and forth between Camera view and Regular view in the viewport |
1 or 2 or 3 | will put you into vertice mode, edge mode or face mode in the Edit view |
