Middle Passage | Brutal trip for slaves being taken from Africa and transported to the Americas. Second leg of the triangular trade system. |

Treaty of Tordesillas | In 1494 this agreement neatly divided the "New World" into land, resources, and people claimed by Spain and Portugal. |

Marco Polo | Early Italian Explorer. |
Colonization | settling and establishing control over the indigenous people of an area. |
Mercantilism | Gaining resources for FREE, then, making money from selling the manufactured goods from those resources. 100% profit!! |
Manufactured goods | Products made from resources. Furniture, radios, rugs clothing. |
