nuclear energy | Energy produced by nuclear reactions. |
potential energy (PE) | Stored energy that can be used later. |
renewable energy resource | An energy resource that is easily replaced by natural methods. |
solar energy | Energy produced by the sun. |
tidal energy | Mechanical energy in rising and falling tides. |
wind energy | Energy from the wind; can be used to turn turbine blades that are attached to generators. |
