ceftriaxone (Rocephin) Advise patient to report signs of superinfection (furry overgrowth on the tongue, vaginal itching or discharge, loose or foul smelling stools and allergy. Notify Dr, if fever diarrhea develop, especially if blood, mucus or pus. Do not treat diarrhea

cephalexin 1st generation-gram positive bacterial infections in patients allergic to penicillins. Side Effects: Bleeding, diarrhea, hypersensitivity, liver dysfunction, nausea, phlebitis, seizures, vomiting, vaginal itching or discharge, headache
cephalexin Pt to take medication around the clock at evenly spaced times and completely finish the medication. Take missed does asap, Report signs of superinfection ( furry overgrowth on the tongue, vaginal itch or discharge, loose or foul smelling stools & allergy
