isotopes | two or more types of atoms that have the same atomic number |
planks constant | product of energy multiplied by time |
valence electrons | electron in the outer shell associated with an atom |
wavelength | distance between corresponding points of two consecutive waves |
alkali metals | with hydrogen they constitute group 1 |
alkaline earth metals | 6 chemical elements in group 2 |
atom | smallest unit of ordinary matter that forms a chemical element |
