TermDefinition
Diagnosis the identification of the nature of an illness or other problem by examination of the symptoms
Consciousness the state of being awake and aware of one's surroundings.
Righteous The act of doing what is right; morally right
Stupor a state of near-unconsciousness or insensibility.
Morale the confidence, enthusiasm, and discipline of a person or group at a particular time.
Abated to become less intense
Ravenous extremely hungry
Atrocious wicked, extremely bad
Sparingly in small quantities
Confiscate take or seize with authority
Fugitive a person who has escaped from a place or is in hiding, especially to avoid arrest or persecution.
Huddled crowd together; nestle closely
Dominated have a commanding influence on; exercise control over
Stifled restrain (a reaction) or stop oneself acting on (an emotion).
Civilian a person not in the armed services or the police force
Mortality death, especially on a large scale
Deserters someone who leaves their job in the armed forces without permission
