Galaxies

| Universe | Everything. This is all we know. all the galaxies, all matter as a "matter" of fact, are in this universe |
| Galaxy | It is millions or billions of stars and planets held together by gravity |
| Disk shaped galaxy | This is, well, a galaxy that is shaped like a disc |
| Spiral shaped galaxy | The whole galaxy is rotating. that gives it that vortex look. and as you go toward the middle, there are more and more stars. the center is known as the bulge |
| Irregular shaped galaxy | they have no distinct shape and are pretty random. They can form when two galaxies come close enough for their gravitational force to interact |
| Elliptical shaped galaxy | they look like concentrated stars in a ball. they have almost no features to their shape so it just looks like a ball of light |
| Light Year | this is the amount of distance light can travel in one year. |
| Cluster | anywhere from hundreds to thousands of galaxies right up ne |
| Andromeda Galaxy | It is the closest major galaxy and we are set to collide with it in 4.6 billion years (about the time the sun will go out) |
