The only one of the bunch to go to UB and Du (aka GV) channel-- so is great for Vertex headaches! Also used as "guiding" herb to head. Gao Ben (aka Rhizoma Ligustici-- but there seem to be alot of Ligustics in our lists...)
Exterior conditions (e.g., Wind-Cold, Wind-Heat) are typically characterized by what? Sudden onset
If not treated, Wind-Cold can turn into Wind-Heat within a matter of... hours!
"Guard against Wind." "THE herb of choice for (Exterior) conditions WHEN BODY ACHES & PAINS ARE CHIEF COMPLAINT." Used for BOTH Exterior AND Interior Wind! (Acrid-Sweet-Sl Warm; LIV-UB-SP) Fang Feng (Fang= Guard; Feng= Wind)
