Term | Definition |

weather | What you see going on outside right now. |
warm front | Brings light rain or snow followed by warm weather. |
cold front | Bring thunderstorms, heavy rain or snow. Cooler weather follows. |
stationary front | Brings many days of clouds and rain or snow. Moves slow. |
occluded front | A warm air mass is caught between two cooler air masses. They can cause tornadoes. |
maritime polar air mass | Cold, humid air mass that forms over water. |
air mass | A huge body of air that has similar temperature and moisture. |
front | Boundary where air masses meet and storms form |
