The Blood is also responsible for... Protection of the body from infection; Protection of the body from loss of blood by the action of clotting.
What are the 3 solid portions that make up blood? Erythrocytes (RBC), Leukocytes (WBC), Thrombocytes (Clotting cells, Cell fragments, or Platelets)
What do the Lymphocytes do? key in the immune response, which involves the "recognition" of dangerous, foreign (viral) substances, and the manufacture of their neutralizers.
