Actuator An actuator is a component of a machine that is responsible for moving and controlling a mechanism or system, for example by opening a valve. In simple terms, it is a "mover". An actuator requires a control signal and a source of energy.
Anode An anode is an electrode through which the conventional current enters into a polarized electrical device. This contrasts with a cathode, an electrode through which conventional current leaves an electrical device.
Boolean denoting a system of algebraic notation used to represent logical propositions, especially in computing and electronics.
Cathode the negatively charged electrode by which electrons enter an electrical device.
Debugging Debugging is the process of finding and resolving defects or problems within a computer program that prevent correct operation of computer software or a system.
Function a basic task of a computer, especially one that corresponds to a single instruction from the user.
IDE Integrated Drive Electronics, a standard for interfacing computers and their peripherals.
Library A place to store information and projects
Microcontroller A microcontroller is a compact integrated circuit designed to govern a specific operation in an embedded system. A typical microcontroller includes a processor, memory and input/output (I/O) peripherals on a single chip.
Object a data construct that provides a description of something that may be used by a computer (such as a processor, a peripheral, a document, or a data set) and defines its status, its method of operation, and how it interacts with other objects.
Power supply An object that is in a games code that powers a specific movement or action that happens in game
Pseudo code a notation resembling a simplified programming language, used in program design.
Sensor a device which detects or measures a physical property and records, indicates, or otherwise responds to it.
Serial plotter monitor Serial Monitor and Serial Plotter tool on IDE are used not only for debugging but also for monitoring.
