Creating Tables
Term | Definition |
---|---|
ascending | Sorts text from beginning to end |
cells | A box in the table |
cells range | Two or more cells within the table |
descending | Sorts text from the end to the beginning |
formulas | Calculates a total, average, determine highest or lowest value number, and count values |
header row | The first row of the table that contains information that helps identify the contents of a particular column |
merge cells | To combine two or more cells into one |
quick tables | Built in preformatted tables which you can insert and use in your documents |
sort | Arrange it alphabetically, numerically, or chronologically |
split cells | To divide one cell into two or more cells |
table | Divided between rows and column to help display information |
