| penicillin adverse | diarehea, nausea, vomiting, superinfection, anaphylaxis, allergy, rash, dec rbc wbc & platlet |
| if allergic to peniciilin | dont take cephalosporins |
| tetracyline | bind w/ ca+ and iron to decrease absorption, dont take with milk |
| sulfonamide = | bactrim |
| adverse sulfonamide | adverse, rash, nausea, vomit, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia |
| action of sulfonamide | inhibit folic acid |
| superficial antifungal therapy | treated with topical agents is safer |
| morphine sulfate | agonist, pain reliever |
| narcan | antagonist, for narcotic overdosage |
| diladid/ hydromorphone | agonist like morphine but more rapid & potent |
| baclofen | skeletal muscle relaxant, usually for muscle spasms, supervise ambulation |
