backstage view a tool that offers quick access to commands for performing many files
block style format aligns text along the left margin, including the data, inside address, salutation body of letter, closing.
command an instruction based on an action that you perform in word by clicking a button or entering information into a command box .
dialog box displays additional options of information you can use to execute a command.
dialog box launcher a small arrow in the lower-right corner of the group.
groups a collections of related word commands.
l-beam when you place your cursor near it, the insertions point changes to larger "I"
insertion point the blinking point at the upper-left side of the document where you will being-creating your text

mixed punctuation requires no punctuation after the salutation or the closing.
nonprinting characters are symbols for certain formatting commands, such a paragraphs, indents and tabs, and spaces between words.
open punctuation requires a colon after the salutation and a comma after the closing.
