Point Location for the Lung Meridian of the Hand Taiyin

QuestionAnswer
Laterosuperior to the sternum, 1 cun below Lu-2, at the level of the 1st intercostal space and 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline. LU1 (Mu point: "where the Qi of the corresponding organ is infused & converged")
On the cubital crease, in the depression of the radial side of the tendon of m. biceps brachii. (Locate this point with the forearm abducted.) LU5 (He-Sea Point)
On the palmar aspect of the forearm, on the line joining Lu-9 and Lu-5, 7 cun up from wrist crease. LU6 (Xi Cleft (think "Key Qi") point: "where Blood & Qi are very close to each other")
Superior to the styloid process of the radius, 1.5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist between brachioradialis muscle and the tendon of the long abductor muscle of the thumb. (Locate this point with the interwoven index finger/thumb trick.) LU7 (Luo Connecting Point: "where interior & exterior branches of the meridian connect")
1 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist in the depression on the lateral side of the radial artery. LU8 (Jing-River Point)
At the radial end of the transverse crease of the wrist, in the depression on the lateral side of the radial artery. LU9 (Shu-Stream Point)
On the radial aspect of the midpoint of the 1st metacarpal bone, on the junction of the red and white skin (dorsum w/ palm of hand). LU10 (Ying-Spring Point)
On the radial side of the thumb, 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail. LU11 (Jing-Well Point)
In the superior lateral part of the anterior thoracic wall, superior to the coracoid process of the scapula, in the depression of infraclavicular fossa, 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline. LU2
On the medial aspect of the upper arm, 3 cun below the end of axillary fold, on the radial side of m. biceps brachii. LU3 (Tian Fu/Celestial Palace)
