LR 1 | Big Mound Function: Wood, Horary, Entry, Jing-well On the dorsal aspect of the big toe, at the junction of lines drawn along the lateral border of the nail and the base of the nail, approx. 0.1 cun from the corner of nail |
LR 2 | Moving Between Function: Fire, Sedation, Ying-spring On the dorsum o the foot, between the first and second toes, 0.5 cun proximal to the margin of the web. |
LR 3 | Great Rushing Function: Earth, Source, Shu-stream On the dorsum of the foot, in the hollow distal to the junction o the first and second metatarsal bones. |
LR 4 | Middle Seal Function: Metal, Jing-River On the ankle, anterior to the prominence of the medial malleolus, in the significant depression just medial to the tendon of the tibias anterior when the ankle is extended (dorsiflexed) |
LR 5 | Woodworm Canal Function: Junction 5 cun proximal to the prominence of the medial malleolus, immediately posterior to the medial crest of the tibia, in the depression between the medial crest of the tibia and the gastrocnemius muscle |
LR 6 | Central Capital Function: Xi Cleft 7 cun proximal to the prominence of the medial malleolus, immediately posterior to the medial border of the tibia, in the depression between the medial border of the tibia and the gastrocnemius muscle |
LR 7 | Knee Joint Function: N/A Posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia, 1 cun posterior to SP 9. |
LR 8 | Spring at the Crook Function: Water, Tonification, He-Sea Just superior to the medial end of the popliteal crease, in the depression anterior to the tendons of semitendinosous and semimebranosus, about 1 cun anterior to KI 10 |
