APU Study- LM4 (External Power and AIR)

QuestionAnswer
Ensure lower engine bay doors are closed prior to WHAT? APU start
Ensure WHAT switch is set to ALTER and AIR SOURCE ST is set to OFF to prevent ICL coolant overheat AIR SOURCE CREW
APU start time is 15 seconds. If APU does not reach WHAT within 40 seconds (APU run light will illuminate at 95% RPM) start shut down 95% RPM
Engine WHAT can only be powered in 2-min intervals by placing ENG INST TEST switch to LOW or HIGH for approximately 5 seconds SCDU
Ensure WHAT and WHAT are clear of moving surfaces prior to applying hydraulic pressure? People and Equipment
Operate APU a minimum of 30 seconds before coupling to ADG to ensure APU oil pressure and WHAT stabilization EGT
Operate APU a minimum of 5 minutes prior to coupling at temperatures below WHAT? If APUS have been couple within the past 4 hours this is not required 0 degrees
ADG will couple within WHAT at temperatures above 30 degrees 6 seconds
ADG will couple within 20 seconds at temperaures below WHAT? 30 degrees
A minimum of WHAT must have air flowing out. If no flow is detected, terminate APU run and troubleshoot One Cooling Scoop
