Homeostasis Match

Match the cause to the effect - homeostasis

QuestionAnswer
A person's body gets too hot. He/She begins to sweat in an attempt to lower the temperature.
A person becomes cold. He/she will begin to shiver in an attempt to increase the temperature.
A person's blood sugar level drops. The pancreas will secrete insulin to raise the blood sugar level.
A person's body becomes too cool. Blood vessels near the skin's surface will constrict (become smaller) and conserve heat.
A person's oxygen needs increase due to strenuous exercise. The lungs will show increased activity.
A person suffers from a lack of energy due to a lack of oxygen going to the body's cells. The red bone marrow will produce more red blood cells which carry oxygen.
A person's blood pressure drops. The heart will pump more times per minute.
