Kosen Rufu Origen Nichiren (1222–1282) se destacó entre los budistas de su tiempo por emplear frecuentemente el término “kosen-rufu”. Su énfasis en el kosen-rufu representa la esencia de su concepción de la práctica budista,
Kosen Rufu Definición Una traducción literal sería “el amplio flujo y propagación –y aplicación— de las enseñanzas contenidas en el Sutra del loto”.
Kosen Rufu Definición Se escribe con cuatro ideogramas chinos que significan, respectivamente, “ampliamente”, “declarar”, “fluir” y “promulgar”.
Kosen Rufu Concepto Es la realización de un esfuerzo incesante para enaltecer la dignidad humana y hacer que las personas tomen conciencia de su ilimitado valor y potencial.
Enfoque Correcto del Kosen Rufu Establece que la felicidad personal –la iluminación— está inextricablemente vinculada a la paz y a la felicidad de los demás y de la sociedad en general.
Enfoque Incorrecto del Kosen Rufu Nichiren rechazó la idea de que la iluminación fuese una virtud interior que se cultivaba meramente para el bien personal; también negó que el budismo tuviera como meta obtener recompensas en existencias futuras.
Características del Enfoque incorrecto del Kosen Rufu Estas dos concepciones tienen un factor común: la resignación ante la incapacidad humana de superar el sufrimiento y transformar la sociedad de manera positiva.
Conclusión El término budista “kosen-rufu” significa paz duradera y eterna. Señala el ámbito dinámico donde la felicidad individual y la prosperidad de la sociedad se presentan juntas en perfecta concordancia;
Conclusión donde todas las personas –la humanidad entera que palpita y respira— disfrutan de verdadera dicha; donde cánticos que ensalzan y glorifican la más recóndita esencia de la vida son compartidos en un estado de seguridad y contento.
