The Lord of Host saith about himself--- (Mal. 1:14) I am a great king, and my name is dreadful among the heathen
Why was the priest curse? (Mal. 2:2) Because he will not hear and lay it on his heart
What should be on the Priest lips and What is his function? (Mal. 2:7) Knowledge, and to seek the law he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
What two actions of the Priest were wrong? (Mal. 2:8) Departed from the way (God) have cause many to stumble at the law, corrupted the covenant of Levi.
Who has profaned the holiness of the Lord and married daughters of strange gods (Mal. 2:11) Judah
What the Lord states about unfaithfulness in marriages (Mal. 2:14-16) For the Lord, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away.
Who have wearied the Lord(Mal. 2:17) Everyone that doeth evil (unbelief)
Who will prepare the way before the Lord and who will suddenly come to the temple (Mal. 3:1) I will send my messenger and he will prepare the way before me ; and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple
The Lord asked the question of who may abide the day of his coming or who shall stand when he appeareth because? (Mal. 3:2) For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap (the priests, Judah, Jerusalem)
What shall he(the lord) do and why? (Mal. 3:3) And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and he shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness
What shall be pleasant unto the Lord (Mal. 3:4) The offerings of Judah and Jerusalem as in the day of old
The Lord of Host saith as a swift witness that judgement will be passed against whom? (Mal. 3:5) Sorcerers, adulterers, false swearers and those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger form his right, and fear not me
Who’s character is unchanging (Mal. 3:6) For I am the Lord and I change not
When have they turned aside from the Lord, and what did they do? What will the Lord do? (Mal. 3:7) Even from the days of thy fathers ye are gone away from my ordinances, and have not kept them, and I will return unto you , saith the Lord of host
Who shall rob God and How does he rob God (Mal. 3:8) A man will rob God in tithes and offerings
What happen to those who rob God (Mal. 3:9) Ye are curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
What do we bring into the storehouse? Purpose for what we bring? The Lord of host saith if we prove him? ( (Mal. 3:10) All the tithes That there be meat in my house Open the Windows and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Things the Lord of host will do for our sake (Mal. 3:11) 1) Rebuke the devourer, 2) shall not destroy the fruit of your ground, and 3) vine will not cast its fruit before its time in the field
what will all Nations do? (Mal. 3:12) call you blessed, for ye shall be a delightsome land
The Lord of Host saith? the people said? (Mal. 3:13-14) your words have been stout against me it is vain to serve God; and what profit it is that we kept his ordinance, and have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts.
What was done for those that feared the Lord and spoke with each other about the Lord? (Mal. 3:16) A book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord and thought upon his name.
What did the Lord of hosts states about his people? (Mal. 3:17) They shall be mine, in the that day when I make up my jewels and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son.
Returning, they are able to do? (Mal. 3:18) 1) discern between the righteous and the wicked 2) between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
What is coming and what will happen (Mal. 4:1) The day cometh, that will burn as an oven and all the proud and all that do wickedly shall burn leaving neither root or branch
For those that fear the Lord what will happen? (Mal. 4:2) the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings, Ye shall grow up as calves of a stall
They that fear the Lord will do? Mal. (4:3) tread down the wicked, they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
Ye are to remember?(Mal. 4:4) the law of Moses, which was given to him in Horeb for all Israel with the statutes and judegments
who comes before the great and dreadful day of the Lord? (Mal. 4:5) Elijah the prophet
What will happen to the hearts of the people? (Mal. 4:6) the hearts of the fathers will be turned to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
