6. What were the Hellespont and the Bosporus? They both were straits connected to the Black Sea
7. Why was Byzantium important? It was part of the trade route connecting the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea
8. What's a tyrant? Were rulers who seized power by force from the aristocrats
9. What's a democracy? It's a government by the people or ruled of the many
10. What is an oligarchy? It's a government ruled by the few
