Operation Desert Storm the codename for the U.S. - led United Nations operation to liberate Kuwait from Iraq.
Persian Gulf War a war between the forces of the United Nations, led by the United States, and those of Iraq that followed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait in August 1990.
Holocaust the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators; it is a word of Greek origin meaning "sacrifice by fire."
Invasion of Iraq lasted from March 19 to May 1, 2003 and signaled the start of the Iraq War, which was dubbed Operation Iraqi Freedom by the United States; the invasion consisted of 21 days of major combat operations.

Saddam Hussein Iraqi political leader; invaded Kuwait
ISIS a radical Sunni Muslim organization whose aim is to restore an Islamic state, or caliphate, in the region encompassing Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian territories, and southeastern Turkey.
