Axis Imaginary line running through Earth between the North and South Poles
Equinox Point at which everywhere on Earth days and nights are nearly equal in length
Solstice Point at which days are longest in one hemisphere and shortest in another
Weather condition of the air and sky at a certain time
Climate average weather of a place over many years
Precipitation water that falls to the ground as rain snow sleet or hail
Temperature measure of how hot or cold the air is
Tropical wet climate climate with hot temperatures and heavy rainfall year-round
