Bronze Age Period of time when people made and used Bronze.
Civilization A group of people living and working together. EX: social classes, job specialization, religion, economy, government...
Communicate Ways of sharing ideas, information, and ideas.
Domesticate To train an animal for human use.
Economy Money produced from a society.
Irrigation The process of watering crops and plants.
Metallurgy Combining metals to make useful objects.
Method The way of performing a task.
Neolithic Age The New Stone Age
Nomad A person who migrates for food, water, and shelter.
Hunter- Gatherer A human living in a remote location which has to hunt and gather to obtain a food source.
Ice- Age Time period when glaciers covered much of the Earth, and the Earth experienced freezing cold temperatures.
Paleolithic Age The Old Stone Age.
Polytheism The belief in more than one god.
Monotheism The belief in one God.
Population A group of people living in one location.
Settlement A place where people establish a community.
Shrine A place of worship for the nomads.
Silt Fertile soil used to grow crops.
Specialization Training for a specific job.
Surplus An extra amount of food which is stored.
Systematic Agriculture The seasonal growing of crops on a consistent basis. (farming)
Technology Tools and weapons created by Nomads made from sticks, stones, and animal bones.
