Keyboard Keys

Know what these keys do!

KeyDefinition
escape Close a tab when you are stuck, exit fullscreen
tab Indent, go to other text boxes
shift Make letters uppercase, make different symbols
control Used in logins, or key patterns
alter Used in logins, or key patterns
backspace delete a letter, number or symbol
enter Skips a line, submits a test
capital lock Makes letters uppercase until you press it again
letter keys Writes the letter on the key
space bar makes a space
number key Writes the number (or symbol with shift) on the key
arrow keys shows you a different view of the page, moves your character in a game
symbol keys Writes the symbol on the key
brightness keys changes the brightness
refresh key refreshes the page
sound key alters the sound
power key turns computer off and on
