westerlies winds blowing from the west toward the east between 30 and 60 degrees latitude
jet stream a narrow current of strong winds circling the Earth from west to east carrying air masses
evaporation water changes from a liquid to gas by heating
condensation water changes from a gas to a liquid by cooling
precipitation rain, snow, sleet, or hail
