margins are the black areas between the edge pf the text and edge of the page
portrait orientation a page is taller than it is wide
landscape orientation means a page is wider than it is tall
mirror margins the margins on the left page of the document are a mirror image of the margins on the right page
gutter adds extra space to the left,top,or inside margin to allow for the binding
section is a portion of a document that is separated from the rest of the document by section breaks
section breaks are formatting marks that you insert in a document to show the end of a section
automatic page break when you reach the bottom of a page allowing you to continue typing on the next page
manual page break forces the text to the next page of a document by using this command
field is a code that serves as a placeholder for data that changes in a document,such as the page number or the current date.
header is text or graphics that appears at the top of every page of a document
footer is text or graphics that appears at the bottom of every page
building blocks are reusable pieces of formatted content or document parts,including headers and footers,page numbers,and text box
table is a grid of columns and rows that you can fill with texts and graphics
cell is the box formed by the intersection of a column and a row
borders the lines that divide the columns and rows of a table and help you see the grid-like structure of the table
footnote or endnote is an explanatory note that consists of two linked parts:the note references mark that appears next to text indicate that additional information is offered
citation is a parenthetical reference in the document text that gives credit to the source of a quotation or other information used in a document
bibliography a list of sources that you used in creating the document
