Quadrilateral. Shape with four sides.
Parallelogram. 1. Both opposite sides are congruent OR 2. Both opposite sides are parallel OR 3. One pair of opposite sides are congruent and parallel OR 4. Diagonals bisect each other Fact: Opposite angles are congruent.
Rectangle Mandatory: is a parallelogram 1. Diagonals are congruent OR 2. One right angle
Rhombus. Mandatory: is a trapezoid and parallelogram 1. two consecutive sides are congruent OR 2. diagonals are perpendicular Fact: Opposite angles are congruent, diagonals bisect the opposite angles.
Square. Mandatory: is a parallelogram, rectangle, AND a rhombus
Trapezoid. 1. one pair of parallel opposite sides
Isosceles trapezoid. Mandatory: is a trapezoid 1. non parallel sides are congruent Fact: diagonals are congruent
Right trapezoid. Mandatory: is a trapezoid 1. one right angle
