Aside Something short a character says. Other characters can't hear this, only the audience.
Scene Divisions of acts in a play
Tragedy A work of literature that results in a catastrophe for the protagonist, often resulting in his or her death.
Monologue A long speech by one character, when other characters are around.
Act A large division of a play.
Soliloquy A long speech by one character he or she is alone.
Protagonist The main character of the story or play.
Antagonist A character opposite in personality or actions to another character.
Pun A play on words.
