Circumlocution | The Use of many words where from fewer would do, especially in a deliberate attempt to be vague or evasive. |
Colloquial | Used in ordinary or familiar conversations, not formal or literary. |
Diffuse | Spread or caused to spread over a wide area or among a large number of people. |
Digress | Leave the main subject temporarily in speech or writing. |
Eloquence | Fluent or persuasive speaking or writing. |
Grandiloquent | Pompous or extravagant in language, style, or manner, especially in a way that is intended to impress. |
Loquacious | Tending to talk a great deal; talkative. |
Prattle | Talk at a length in a foolish or inconsequential way. |
Rant | Speak or shout at a length in a wild, impassioned way. |
Rhetorical | Of, relating to, or concerned with the art of rhetorical. |
Verbose | Using or expressed in ore words than are needed. |
Voluble | Speaking or spoken incessantly and fluently. |
Garrulous | Excessively talkative, especially on trivial matters. |
