oil of the sick the holy oil that has been blessed by the bishop for use in the Anointing of the Sick
funeral mass a special Mass where we thank God for the life of the person who has died.
eternal life is living forever with God in heaven
heaven is life with God forever
hell being separated form God forever
purgatory a place where people to prepare them for heaven
How does the funeral Mass give us hope? we remember that we are joined to Christ at Baptism, that Jesus died and rose from the dead to bring us new life, and that death is beginning of eternal life
How do Christian's believe that there is life after death? They believe in the idea of eternal life.
What happens when people break their friendship with God compeltely? They enter into hell.
Where do souls go if they are not ready to enter Heaven? They go into purgatory.
What is purgatory? A place where the soul goes to prepare themselves to go to Heaven.
What is heaven? Life with God forever.
How do people enter Heaven? By choosing to love and serve God.
What places does the priest anoint with oil? The forehead and the hands.
How did Jesus care for the sick? He healed their illnesses, forgave sins, and visited people who were sick
