Water pollution The addtion of any substance that has negitive effect on water or the living things that depend on the water
Point source A specific source of polution that can be identified such as a pipe
Non point A widely spreaded source of polution such as run off that is diffcult to link to a source point of orgin
Pesticide A chemical used to kill insects and other oganisums that damage crops
Estuary A coastal inlet or bay where freah water mixes with aslty ocean water
Sediment Small soild particels of materials from materials and orgainums which are moved by water or wind resulting in erousin and deposition
Conservation The process of using a reasources wisely so it will not be used up
Recycling The process of reclaiming materails by reusing and reprocessing raw materials
