Math Angles - Triangles

What is an Acute Triangle? All three angles are acute angles. All three angles are less than 90 degrees
What is a right triangle? A triangle with one right angle. The angle is 90 degrees.
What is an Obtuse Triangle? A triangle with one angle larger than 90 degrees.
What is an Equilateral triangle? A triangle with all sides the same length and all the same angles.
What is an Isosceles triangle? A triangle where two sides are equal and have the same angle
What is a Scalene Triangle? A triangle where no sides or angles are equal.
All the angles in a triangle add up to how many degrees? All the angles add up to 180 degrees.
All the angles in a half moon is how many degrees? 180 degrees
How many degrees does a circle have? 360 degrees.
If a triangle has one angle equal to 40 degrees. Another angle equal to 60 degrees then what is the third angle? In a triangle all the angles add up to 180 degrees. 40 + 60 = 100. Then 180-100=80 degrees.
In a Equilateral triangle one side measures 5 cm long and one angle is 60 degrees. What are the length of all the other sides and angles? Hint "equal" triangle. In a equilateral triangle all angles and sides are all the same.
