TermDefinition
Energy The ability to do or work or cause changes.
Kinetic Energy The energy an object has due to its motion.
Potential Energy Energy that related to an object.
Gravitational Energy Potential energy related to an object's height.
Elastic Energy Is the energy associated with object that can be compresses or stretched.
mechanical energy The form of energy associated with motion,or shape of an object.
nuclear energy The potential energy stored in the nucleus of an atom.
thermal energy The total kinetic energy of a particle in an object.
electric energy The energy of electric charges.
electromagnetic energy Is the light you see is one type of electromagnetic energy.
chemical energy Chemical energy is in the food you eat in the matches you use to light a candle and even in the cell of your body.
energy transfirmation a change from one form of energy to another
law of conservation of energy states that when one form of energy is transferred to anther no energy lost in process
headland is a part of the shore that sticks out into the ocaen
beach is an area of wave -washed sediment along a coast
