anorchidism absence of one or both testes
cryptochidism hidden testes, un-descended testis
balanitis inflammation of the glans penis
phimosis narrowing of the opening in the foreskin
hypospadias the urethra opens on the under surface of the penis
epispadias the urethra opens on the upper surface of the penis (dorsum)
hydrocele accumulation of fluid around the testes
varicocele dilated and twisted veins in the spermatic cord and around the testes
aspermia no sperm
oligospermia low sperm count
sterility (infertility) inability to produce babies
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) inability to have or maintain erection
Benign Prostate Hypertrophy (BPH) non-malignant enlargement of the prostate
Digital Rectal Exam (DRE) examination of the prostate through the rectum
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test used in screening for cancer prostate
semen analysis examination of semen for sperm count, normal average count 20-40 millions, test for infertility
orchidectomy sugical removal of the testis
vasectomy culting and removal part of the vas deferens on both sides, method of contraception
circumcision surgical removal of the foreskin
prostatectomy surgical removal of the prostate a/ transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) b/ transabdominal (supra-pubic)
