Software

TermDefinition
Hardware is any part of your computer that has a physical structure, such as the computer monitor or keyboard.
Software is what guides the hardware and tells it how to accomplish each task. Some examples of software include web browsers, games, and word processors
Word Processor processor is an electronic device or computer software application that, as directed by the user, performs word processing such as composition, editing and formatting.
Spreadsheet A spreadsheet is an interactive computer application program for organization and analysis of data in tabular form, such as calculations, lists, charts and fomulas.
Slide Presentation A slide presentation helps the user tell a story, create presentations, and even share those presentations on the web.
Programming the action or process of writing computer programs.
Browser a program with a graphical user interface for displaying HTML files, used to navigate the World Wide Web.
Operating System the software that supports a computer's basic functions, such as scheduling tasks, executing applications, and controlling peripherals.
BIOS a set of computer instructions in firmware that control input and output operations.
ROM Short for read-only memory. Computer hardware that stores programs or data that cannot be added to, modified, or deleted.
Microsoft Office a collection of computer programs made by Microsoft. The programs are created for all users. There are different versions of the software for home users and for business users.
Screenshot a way to capture what is on the screen by using specific keys on the keyboard or device.
