What is matter? it makes up everything that has mass and volume in it.
what is a gas? It is a state of matter that can fill it's container and has particles that move very fast.
What is a solid? It is the state of matter that maintains it's own shape because the particles are pressed tightly together.
What is Plasma? It is the state of matter where the electrins have been stripped away from the nucleus because of extremely high temperatures.
What is a liquid? It is the state of matter that takes the shape of it's container and has particles that move with moderate speeds.
What is Melting? It is the process of a solid changing into a liquid.
What is freezing? It is the process of a liquid changing into a solid.
What is boiling? The process of a liquid changing into a gas.
What is condensation? The process of a gas changing into a liquid.
What is sublimation? The process of a solid changing into a gas.
What is a element? It is a substance that cannot be broken down into another substance by chemical or physical means.
What is a compund? It is a substance made of two ot more elements that chemically bonded togther
What is an atom? The smallest part of an element.
What is a molecule? It is a combination of two or more atoms that are chemically bonded together.
What is a chemical bond? It is the force that holds two atoms together
What is a mixture? It is two or more substances that are mixed together but are not chemically bonded.
What is a physical change? It is a change in a substance that does nit change its identity and does not create a new substance.
What is a chemical change? It is a change in a subsatnce where chenical bonds are broken or formed a new substance is created.
