Marketing Research marketing research is the systematic gathering ,recording ,and anaylize of data about issue relating to marketing product and services
Marketing Information System A set of producers and method for the regular planed collection analysis and presentation of information for use in making management decision
Observation Method A method of data collection in which the situation of intrest is watched and the relavant facts action or behavior recoreded
Primary Data the information collected specifically for the purpose of the investagation at hand
Quantitative Research research that use numerical analysis In essence this approach reduce the data into numbers
Qualitative Research Data gathering techniques that are focused on the significance of observation made in a study rather than the raw number themselves
Reliability Determines how consistently an instrument yield similar results under varying conditions . If a measure has high reliability it yield s consistent result.
Secondary Data the statistics not gathered for immediate study at hand but for some other purpose
Validity The degree to which the instrument measures what its supposed to measure
