renewable a source of energy that is not depleted by use, such as water, wind, or solar power.
solar a place, person, or thing from which something comes or can be obtained
wind the perceptible natural movement of the air, especially in the form of a current of air blowing from a particular direction.
water a colorless, transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid that forms the seas, lakes, rivers, and rain and is the basis of the fluids of living organisms
biomass the total mass of organisms in a given area or volume
geothermal Energy obtained by tapping underground reservoirs of heat, usually near volcanoes or other hot spots on the surface of the Earth.
fuel material such as coal, gas, or oil that is burned to produce heat or power
nonrenewable (of a contract, agreement, etc.) not able to be renewed
fossil fuels a natural fuel such as coal or gas, formed in the geological past from the remains of living organisms.
conservation the action of conserving something, in particular
pollution the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects.
polutants a substance that pollutes something, especially water or the atmosphere
air pollution the presence in or introduction into the air of a substance which has harmful or poisonous effects.
water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater).
contour plowing plowing along the contours of the land in order to minimize soil erosion
windbreaking a growth of trees or shrubs serving to break the force of wind; broadly : a shelter (as a fence) from the wind.
conservation plowing is a soil conservation method in which the dead stalks from the previous year's crop are left in the ground to hold the soil in place.
crop rotation the action of rotating around an axis or center.fallow
fallow a piece of fallow or uncultivated land
