What is a supply chain? The physical/financial + information networks that involve movement of materials, funds etc through the full logistics process from acquiring raw materials to the delivery of finished products. Includes: vendors/service providers/customers/intermediaries.
What is supply chain management? (SCM) The integration of the supplier/distributor + customer logistics requirements into one cohesive process to include demand planning, forecasting, materials requisition, order processing etc from acquisition of raw materials to delivery of finished products
