threshold search subjective measure:the subject determine sif they perceive a sound or not. threhold is sound that is just detected and absolute threhold is the smalles value a listenener can detect.
stimulus freqency the threshold of audibility ranges from20hz to 20khz most ssenstive to 1-4k there is low frequency for vowels and bass. and higher freq for consonants
stimulus duration tone easier to detect if the duration is longer...until 250-500ms unitl it whci plateau
