BRIGANCE Shopping For Clothes

belt a band of cloth, leather, canvass or lanyard strip with holes and loops worn around the waist to help tighten a piece of clothing such as a pair of pants or a skirt
big and tall are clothes for men who are taller or have a larger waist and chest size than average
blouse a lightweight, loose-fitting clothes for women and children, covering the body from the neck or shoulders more or less to the waistline, with or without a collar and sleeves, worn inside or outside a skirt, slacks, etc.
coat / jacket an outer garment with sleeves, covering at least the upper part of the body for specific purposes other than to keep warm
credit card a charge card, an account that allows you to charge the cost of goods to the business that issues the card
customer service store staff that can answer shoppers' questions
debit card a bank issued card that accesses a checking account also known as check card
dress an outer garment for women and girls, consisting of bodice and skirt in one piece, also a term that can be used to mean a formal attire like dress shirt and dress pants for men
gift card / gift certificate a card or certificate from a store that can be bought as a gift and can be spent up to the amount the giver has put on the card
misses clothes sizes designed to fit older teenage girls and women sizes 2 to 20
pajamas night clothes consisting of loose-fitting pants and shirt
pants/ slacks/ jeans men's or women's trousers for informal wear
personal check gives people access to money that is in their bank's checking account, the amount of money written on the check comes out of the person's checking account
petite sizes designed to fit women under 5'3"
plus size clothes for women who are taller or have a larger waist and chest size than average
sale/ clearance sale to sell goods or merchandise at reduced prices to make room for new goods
shoes shoes are item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the feet while doing various activities.
skirt A garment hanging from the waist and worn especially by women and girls.
socks a cloth covering for the foot, reaching to between the ankle and knee and worn inside a shoe
sports/ dress shirt a man's tailored shirt, with long or short sleeves, buttons down the front, and a soft or starched collar, worn with a tie.
suit A set of matching outer garments, especially one consisting of a coat with trousers or a skirt, often worn on formal occasions.
sweater a garment made of knitted or crocheted material covering the upper part of the body, esp a heavy one worn for warmth
t-shirt a lightweight simple garment for the upper body, could be short or long sleeved
