Malation (Ovide) | used to treat headlice -works by paralyzing & killing lice and eggs S/E: burning, stinging, dry hair, increase in dandruff |
crotamiton | used to treat scabies belongs t two classes: scabicides & antiprutics *S/E: worsening skin irritation |
Benzyl peroxide 5% (ulesfia) | Antiparasitic -used to Tx headlice ONLY! will not treat lice on other body areas ppl between 6 months-60 years old -Preg Cat. B * will not get rid of lice eggs |
Spinosad (Natroba) | used to Tx headlice recommended <6 months; not recommended >6 months |
