Petition | A group of people protesting |
Militia | Army or Military |
Quartering | Housing soldiers or governmental people |
Warrant | Permission to enter someone's home, against their will |
Bail | Money that you give to court in order to be released until your trial |
Indict | Charged, Accused, or Arraigned |
Civil Lawsuit | A lawsuit that breaks against civil rights |
Slander/ Libel | The action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation |
Due Process (of the law) | An individual can not lose their natural rights |
Prior Restraint | Is censorship imposed (freedom of speech that could make someone upset), usually by a government, on expression before the expression actually takes place. |
Eminent Domain | The government owns public property that can be used, but only by fees |
