ultrasound test in which high-frequency waves are aimed at the suspicious areas of the breast to determine if there are lumps or other conditions of the breast
abruptio placenta placenta breaks away prematurely from the uterus
dystocia a abnormal or difficult childbirth
eclampsia sudden development in which a pregnant woman experiences sudden complications
ectopic pregnancy implantation of the fertilized egg outside the uterus
hydatidiform mole abnormal pregnancy that results in the formation of a fleshy mass that resembles a bunch of wattery grape vesicles or grapes
hyperemesis gravidarum condition of pregnancy in which the woman vomits excessivly
intrauterine death demise of a fetus while still in utero
idiopathic abortion abortion for which no cause can be found
imminent abortion expulsion of the fetus is about to occur
incomplete abortion contents of the uterus related to the pregnancy are not completely expelled
induced abortion abortion that is intentionally started
inevitable abortion abortion that is in progress and will go to completion
